Coleen Staples

MFT Intern

I work with individuals, couples, and families who are looking for relief, hope, and connection in their lives and relationships. Whether you're feeling stuck, struggling to communicate, or navigating a difficult season, I believe there is hope. Together, we'll gently explore what's getting in the way, build on the strengths you already have, and find meaningful ways forward that support healthier relationships and a stronger sense of self.

I have a deep appreciation for the complexity and nuance of relationships, particularly within marriages, step-families, mixed-faith couples, and the many joys and challenges of parenting. I also recognize that every person and family brings their own unique story, values, experiences, and identity into the room. My hope is to create a compassionate, welcoming space where you can feel understood and supported as you work through relational and personal distress with research-backed approaches.

As a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, I work under the supervision of Rebecca Grondel, LMFT. My therapeutic approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Reaching out for support takes courage. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and growth.
