As a parent, you want the best for your child—often something even better than what you experienced. When your child is struggling and not responding to your attempts to help, it can feel frustrating, confusing, and at times, hopeless. I understand this on a personal level. My journey into therapy began out of necessity for my own family, and it has grown into a passion for helping others find relief and connection in the midst of similar challenges.
I specialize in working with teens and adolescents experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. I also support clients across various age groups in improving motivation, school performance, and behavior. Guiding emerging adults through major life transitions—such as preparing for college, missions, or independent living—are areas I deeply value and enjoy.
In addition, I work with couples preparing for marriage to strengthen communication and deepen connection, and I support families seeking reunification and healing. My approach is rooted in family systems, with a focus on how emotions, behaviors, and lived experiences shape meaning and influence relationships. My main modalities include Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems and Attachment Theory.
I have presented to community groups on topics including Domestic Violence, Suicide Prevention, and Communicating for Closeness. My goal is to create a space where individuals and families can better understand themselves, reconnect with one another, and move toward meaningful, lasting relief.
