Ashley Graf, MFT – Intern

Therapy is a space where hidden parts of us can finally come forward, where old stories can be rewritten, and where understanding ourselves creates room for healing and growth. I understand what it feels like to question old beliefs, to rebuild your identity from the inside out, and to move through emotions that feel big, confusing, or overwhelming. Because of that, I am comfortable sitting with your emotions, especially the ones you’ve been told are “too much.”

I’ve spent years as a muralist, telling stories through art on walls, and that fascination with people’s stories naturally guides me now in the therapy room. People are the most creative thing on this planet and I believe creativity in therapy is an essential part of the healing process.

In therapy, my hope is that you feel grounded, safe, and truly cared about. I’m not someone who sits across from you and nods, I’m deeply curious about who you are, what you’re feeling, and what your experiences mean to you. My style is warm, reflective and collaborative. I help clients slow down and explore their emotions, noticing the patterns that keep showing up and the needs that have been hard to name. I value learning and teaching, so our work often includes psychoeducation to help you understand yourself and feel more equipped outside the therapy room.

I specialize in supporting women and individuals who want to understand their emotions more clearly and strengthen their inner voice. I have a deep understanding and compassion in helping individuals navigate faith transitions or recover from rigid or high- pressure environments. With couples, I help partners understand the deeper meaning behind their struggles, communicate in a way that brings them closer, and create a relationship dynamic that feels easier and more connected. I work from an attachment-based, emotion-focused lens and draw heavily from EFT and narrative therapy.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee currently completing my clinical practicum under the supervision of a licensed clinician, Rebecca Grondel. I work closely with my supervisor to ensure thoughtful, ethical, and high-quality care for the individuals and couples I serve.

Whether you’re seeking clarity within yourself or connection within your relationship, I’ll meet you in a space where your emotions have room to breathe, your story is honored and new possibilities can begin to unfold.
