First Responder / Trauma Care

Tools to face trauma

You care for others - let us compassionately care for you

Our lived experiences change us. They change our brains, our nervous systems, our view of life and people; thus, the way we are within ourselves, our bodies, and how we interact with loved ones.

Because of the work you do as first responders, to care for and protect society, our families, and other loved ones, you are changed. Your nervous system responds differently to your environment, and your ability to recognize and attend to emotions is compromised. Your sleep can be impacted, and your body changes…this can’t be helped due to the trauma you are exposed to on a consistent basis.

In our work together we will:

  • Identify barriers to connection with self and others
  • Process trauma
  • Find and grow joy in life once again
  • Strengthen valued relationships

Release trauma stored in the body

Start to shift your life back to the direction you want

“Trauma is not what happens to you, it is what happens inside of you as a result of what happens to you.” (Mate 2023)
